About Us

Lily Pad Doormats is a small family business, run from home here in Wales UK.  Our name is inspired by my daughter Noa Lily, and this brand was born in lock down 2020.

Previously I had been working in fashion retail for over a decade. I was travelling every week to London and Manchester, staying away, and relying on grandparents and nursery for childcare and support.  As a working single mother, I was exhausted trying to juggle it all, but because I loved my job I was finding a way to make it work. Then sadly I lost my job, the pandemic hit, we were in full lock down just me and my then two year old daughter. It was a scary time.

Lock down gave me time to think about my lifestyle and what I wanted.  In between the full days of playing, painting, crafting, walking, joe wicks work outs I came up with Lily Pad Doormats and have not looked back.  Thanks for following our journey, I appreciate your support, business, likes and shares so much.
